A semi-staged production of Carmen with acclaimed Cumbrian-born mezzo Jess Dandy. Lauded for her 'stunning, sumptuous tone and beautiful legato' (The Times), Dandy has appeared at the BBC Proms, Covent Garden, Bayreuth, and with all the major UK Orchestras. For two performances, she leads an all-Cumbrian Cast to perform Bizet's seminal masterpiece.
